The aim of the vocational training programme is to qualify you for independent, comprehensive professional nursing care. You will benefit from a close integration of theory and practice: the training programme is divided into 2,100 hours of theory and a practical part of around 2,500 hours.

As part of the practical training, you will familiarise yourself with all areas of nursing care in the various facilities at ZfP Reichenau. In addition to mandatory assignments on certain wards, you can also focus on a specific area.

Together with competent practical instructors, you will go through the following stages:

  • Orientation placement
  • Compulsory assignments: inpatient acute care (hospital), inpatient long-term care (specialist nursing home), outpatient care, paediatrics, psychiatry
  • Elective assignments: e.g. day clinics, ward-equivalent treatment (StäB), psychiatric institute outpatient clinic, counselling centres, hospice
  • Specialisation placement with final examination

What we offer you /

  • The training allowance is regulated by collective agreement (TV-L).

  • New courses start on April 1, August 1 and October 1.
